In Maebashi City, pioneering efforts are underway to introduce AI technology into public spaces, such as buses that use facial recognition to identify passengers. As Maebashi City takes the lead in these experiments in Japan, it invites us to ponder: how will our daily lives in the city change when these technologies are fully adopted? This exhibit invites visitors to reflect on how we, as urban residents, can coexist with cutting-edge technologies like AI. Utilizing AR, you can place signs that seem to have come from the future of Maebashi around this area. The exhibition encourages visitors to draw on worksheets, ideating possible signs that might emerge in the future. These ideas not only might become new signs and billboards in AR, but they might also serve as a catalyst for forging a harmonious relationship between us and technology.
